"Jeremy and his team worked on my fieldstone foundation. The walls were badly cracked and crumbling to the touch but Done Right cleaned it all up and it looks great now. Jeremy was responsive, communicative, punctual, and a pleasure to work with - even after the work was done, he was quick to answer any further questions."
"We recently purchased a 260 year old house. The basement was fieldstone and there was lots of space between the rocks, letting critters come in. They were able to bring a few tons of lyme (sp? I think that's what it is called) and then covered with very nice white coating. Looks great and they were very professional. More importantly after several significant rains, no leaks and no critters. They dod a very good job and they understand old houses."
"Everyone has a contractor horror story. This is not one of them. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite. My wife and I have a 100 year old house with a problem basement. The walls and floor seep moisture which partially dries leaving a crumbling brown residue. When we bought the house 6 years ago I put tons of Drylok on the walls and floor and built sheet rock interior walls to create rooms. But after a while the moisture and the brown residue would bleed through. Last year we had a contractor in to try and solve the problem and he put on even more DryLok. Same thing happened. So we called in Jeremy Custeau owner of Done Right Services who spent a lot of time looking at what we had and going over our options. He indicated that to do it right, the sheet rock partitions would have to be removed, then to cure the wall problem the DryLok would have to be scraped off and the stone foundation repointed. To fix the floor it would have to be scraped and leveled before pouring a new flooring. All of this would have cost an arm and a leg and would have been a big project for Done Right Services, yet it wasn’t what Jeremy recommended. He genuinely was concerned about the cost to us and suggested that we live with the walls and floor as they were and get a new and better dehumidifier to prevent mold. We’ve decided to go this route but may get back to Jeremy in a year or so for the big job, knowing full well that it will be done right."
"We have an old fieldstone foundation turns into a waterfall during heavy rain. Jeremy was great to work with, he did an excellent job! The basement looks nice and clean. No more mold or moldy smell! Next rain expected on Tuesday....I am confident my problem is resolved!"
"Jeremy and his team waterproofed my walls, sealed my floor, and provided a decorative concrete flake epoxy flooring. In addition he removed a chimney from the foundation and widened a back entrance. It was quite a job that was over a year in preparation and discussions. It is part of a larger basement remodeling process. This was less about sealing out water (we did not get any really but my 1907 walls were still a mess) but more about future proofing, cleaning up the look, and helping seal the foundation so our radon mitigation system could work 100%. During the process, the first coat of wall sealer had some cracking and discoloration. Jeremy had this fixed at no extra cost. He also worked with me on several applications of the floor epoxy to get it smooth. Jeremy's prices aren't cheap (but they are not unreasonable for this type of work) but the main thing is that I have confidence that I can get a hold of him to fix issues. Easy to deal with and schedule.
Edit: in 2024 I needed some extra wall sealing material. I emailed Jeremy out of the blue and he provided me with a big bag for free the day I contacted him! Awesome."
"Jeremy and his team did a great job on the fieldstone foundation of our 100 year old condo building in South Boston. What was once a very damp and dirty space is now clean and protected. Our goal was to keep the foundation structurally sound, which Jeremy assured us his work would do. The waterproofing part was a bonus to us...but I am happy to say so far so good on that part, too. I highly recommend Done Right Services."
