The work was just completed, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The large stone foundation of my 230 year old home needed some attention. I wanted to prevent minor issues from becoming big, expensive issues, so I had the walls repointed and waterproofed.
I called Jeremy and he was very prompt at coming out and looking at the job. As I have no experience in this realm, and it was important I trusted the team doing the work. I’ve done considerable amounts of home renovations, but I’ve never had to tackle a foundation. Jeremy spent a lot of time walking my foundation with me and listening to my concerns. I pointed out areas that obviously needed attention (30% of the basement), and then he showed me other minor issues. What was most impressive was his honesty. Although he pointed out the other issues he explained it did not need immediate attention. Then he explained in great detail how my specific foundation was built including materials used and techniques. It was an education that I needed in order to make the decision. After our tour and discussions, I decided to do the entire basement because it would be cheaper in the long run as all the equipment was there and then I wouldn’t have to ever think about it again. I feel the pricing was very fair.
The repointing was obviously the biggest issue as I had a ridiculous fear that once the mortar was removed the foundation would crumble and, of course, I’d be sleeping when this happened. As I continually peppered Jeremy with questions regarding this insane fear, he never rolled his eyes (externally) and answered my questions with great specificity. In fact, when the cleaning was done, he made the effort to tell me the foundation was solid. I appreciated this professionalism and his respect of my home, my concerns, and, frankly, my money. Few companies have both the expertise and the service, but Jeremy does.
Jeremy wasn’t here every day doing the work, but I didn’t expect him to be. However, he was here the first day and a half working along side his team as well as the last day, but he checked in everyday and reviewed progress with me. His team was awesome. For five days they were in my home and I would check in with them every couple of hours. As progress was being made, they also would answer my questions. They explained what they were doing, and not once did they treat me with anything but respect and full courtesy. I’ve only worked with one other company where the employees are equally aware of doing an excellent job and treating my home with respect. Absolutely a 5-star team.
In all, I can’t imagine another company doing this job for me and my historic home. Everything was moved and tarps applied for the duration of the process for cleanliness. Every night after work was completed, the work area was organized and ‘cleaned’. And when they left for good the basement was put back and clean. I watched their work and it was excellent. Every promise told to me was delivered in spades. I never want to worry about my foundation, and now I won’t have to thanks to Jeremy and his team. I think during the next big rain storm I’m going to grab a chair and glass of champagne and sit in my basement staring at the DRY walls!

"Jeremy and his team did my basement walls about two months ago and I am still amazed every time I go into my basement. We had stone walls with no mortar at all in some sections and his team fixed it beautifully. They re-stacked sections of the wall that where caving in and built up a section that was below grade. Since they completed the job, we haven't seen a drop of water. It's funny to say but when people come to our house who haven't seen it before, we make sure to include the basement as part of the tour."

"We had 2 huge cracks from floor to ceiling on opposite sides of one basement room with severe water leaks! I called DRS and they responded quickly via email and after reassuring us they came out. Once they looked over our problem they effectively cleaned up the cracks and applied their sealant in several coats. They answered all my questions as I watched them work.
